The Ed Agent Program

Our core service. Our Ed Agents work directly for students to help them be their best. We collaborate with the family as a team to support the student in their pursuit of Health, Happiness and Education.

Our Ed Agents work directly for students through weekly check-ins. The Ed Agent is a combination of a mentor, life coach, educator and talent agent. Students from 4th-9th grade join the program and interview the Ed Agent to ensure a connection. The Ed Agent then works with the students to identify barriers to academic success. TEdA works with other organizations to maximize our efficiency and not duplicate services. The Ed Agent also works with the family to connect them to resources or services that may be needed. Our Agents are trained in CRM and use it as a base for working with our students.

Educational Consulting

TEdA believes strongly in collaboration. We work with organizations and the community to develop child-focused projects. Together we can accomplish more, and TEdA adds an educational angle for community based work.

TEdA is currently working with Los Angeles Dept. of Mental Health and Children's Institute on the Innovations 2 project for South Los Angeles. TEdA is part of the Community Wellness Advisory Board that is responsible for creating a social media campaign around wellness throughout the pandemic.

Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® Sessions

The Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® introduces participants to six wellness skills. CRM helps create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-informed” individuals that understand the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system and how resiliency can be restored or increased using this skills-based approach.

TEdA has a The Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® certified teacher. We are able to offer: a "1-Hour Appetizer" presentation or "4-Hour Training" for organizations or schools that would like to learn more about using CRM with students. Trainings are interactive and go deeper into the model. For organizations or schools who would like a more thorough training, we are also able to provide an "8-hour Tailored Training" specifically addressing your needs.
